About Me

Predencia
A few years ago I decided to start a new career as a performer. I used to be a biology teacher but couldn't face walking around in a white coat all day teaching children who didn't want to learn. Actually it wasn't so much the children as the system cause I think all children want to learn - they just don't all want to learn in schools. Anyway I now work as a Life and Executive coach. Work is perhaps not the right word because it never feels like work. I just love to see people grow and change. I love it when they peel of the layers of limiting beliefs and find their true self. And I make some great frends in the process. I've re-discovered my writing and have published two poetry books and now working on 2 CDs, a novel, a book of short stories and talking to someone about a collaoration on a film script. That should keep me busy for a whild. Oh and I do bellydance.

The Red Lion

Last night I had the most randon and wonderful night. I had a Groupon voucher for the Red Lion in Hockley which ran out on the 13th. A they would not extend it I asked a friend of mine to go along with me. (Reason I asked for extension is that I normally have bellydance on Wed nights). They said no so I asked my friend to go with me. Spoke to my son (middle musician) at about one o'clock and he said he was doing an open mic gig at a pub called 'Red Lion' same night. To cut a long story short we met up. I had my meal, he did a brilliant job on the saxaphone and had everyone spell bound. Great food by the way at the Red Lion, Warstone Lane, Hockley, Birmingham 18. Also met Gerry who was manager of Steel Pulse way back. Mention it because my son Ash is nephew of Basil Gabbidon ex Steel Pulse base guitarist. It was a great night. Thanks guys for brightening up a pretty unintresting Wednesday. Looking forward to next month's event.

Final sum for Walkathon

Seems like ages since the walk and so much has happened since, a couple of performances (Bellydance and Poetry) and a trip to Canada. It took a while to collect it all in but the final sum was £663.60 (including giftaid).

I am bowled over by everyone's generosity. A MASSIVE thank you to you all. Please see my website for all the names who made this possible.
